NEW ERB Adventure Novel #7, Untamed Pellucidar, Now Available

Book #7 in The Wild Adventures of Edgar Rice Burroughs Series

Untamed Pellucidar

An all-new Pellucidar adventure novel by Lee Strong (author of A Soldier of Poloda) with cover and interior art by Douglas Klauba

Northern Russia, 1924: The Red Army is eliminating those who resist the fledgling Soviet government. At The Battle of the Plutonian Plain, the White Russian forces, aided by wily American Edgar Rice Burroughs, do not fall, instead retreating into the dangers of Pellucidar. Comrade Trotsky, the Soviet leader, sends his troops to hunt them down—and destroy them.

Mikhail Kirillivitch Kirov, a young conscript caught up in this mad scheme, is fascinated by this new world. Formerly a student anthropologist, he finds Pellucidar’s Stone Age landscape and inhabitants a revelation—until he’s grabbed by a mammoth Skal and flown back to its aerie to feed its giant offspring.

Thus begins Kirov’s astounding adventure in the Northern environs of Pellucidar, rife with its incredible Paleolithic animal life, including Skals, Trals and Dyals, tremendous birds with sharp talons and fierce beaks; Ryths, the huge Stone Age cave bears whose claws can tear a man apart; and the vicious Jaloks, hyaenodons whose wild packs slaughter their prey mercilessly. These and other fantastic beasts stalk Kirov as he navigates the complex world of Pellucidar’s most dangerous predator: Man.

To survive, Kirov must escape slavery from the Beautiful Ala and her mighty Black Birdriders, foster a civil war, impress the natives with his “inventions,” conquer the terrifying Pulka Horde, and become a warlord of several tribes as they flee the Soviet invaders. It’s a tale in the grand tradition of Edgar Rice Burroughs’ epic adventures at The Earth’s Core.

Book #6 in The Wild Adventures of Edgar Rice Burroughs Series

Swords Against the Moon Men

An all-new science fantasy adventure novel by the acclaimed coauthor of the Ancient Opar series, Christopher Paul Carey with cover art by Chris Peuler and interior illustrations by Mark Wheatley

Hailed by author and science fiction scholar Richard Lupoff as a “masterpiece of science fiction” and a “pioneer work of the modern school of social extrapolation in sciencefiction,” Edgar Rice Burroughs’ classic lunar trilogy—The Moon Maid, The Moon Men, and The Red Hawk—tells the generational tale of humanity’s fight for freedom against alien conquerors from the Moon. The hero, Julian, finds his soul perpetually reincarnated in the bodies of his successive grandsons, fated to confront—down through the centuries—the vicious Kalkars who have subjugated Earth.

The epic saga continues in this novel, Swords Against the Moon Men.

In 2076 AD, Earth has been conquered and humanity brutally enslaved under the cruel tyranny of the Kalkar invaders whose evil was spawned from Va-nah, the Moon’s hollow interior. Julian 7thdescendant of the great hero who led the first expedition to Va-nah and nearly defeated the Kalkars—receives a mysterious transmission from the planet Barsoom.

The desperate plea from the Red Planet swiftly hurls Julian upon a lonely quest into the heart of Va-nah where he teams up with an U-ga princess and a fierce alien quadruped, and launches a daring rescue to save a lost Barsoomian ambassadorial mission. The success of this mission depends on an unlikely alliance with the Warlord of Mars to assail the enemy’s impregnable stronghold.

If Julian fails in this quest, humanity—and the entire solar system—will never escape the iron grip of the Moon Men.

New Tarzan Adventure Novel Explores Possible Solution to Dian Fossey Murder

Book #4 in The Wild Adventures of Edgar Rice Burroughs Series
Available in Hard cover with dust jacket; Soft cover; and Digital editions

Edgar Rice Burroughs, Inc. has published Tarzan: The Greystoke Legacy Under Siege, a work of fiction that addresses the still-unsolved 1985 murder of primatologist Dian Fossey.

Fossey, an academic and, to many, a real-life Wonder Woman, came to the Rwandan jungle intent on studying and preserving the habitat of endangered mountain gorillas. Fossey swiftly found herself combating the cruelty of poachers and the heartlessness of oil and mining interests, which indiscriminately killed the gorillas out of greed, while filling their pockets with ill-gotten gains. Fossey transformed from scholar to bush guerilla fighter, working to confuse and defeat these environmental terrorists. Tragically, Fossey was brutally murdered in her home in Rwanda on December 26, 1985. On that day, the world lost a champion of the environment, wild endangered habitats and animals.

Tarzan: The Greystoke Legacy Under Siege is a seminal book as it introduces four generations of Tarzan, including Tarzan’s great grandson, Jonathan, who is unsure of his place in the Tarzan Legacy. Also in this novel, Tarzan’s African estate is demolished and many people are killed by an unknown guerilla militia; Tarzan’s son, Jack, is accused of Dian Fossey’s murder and is sought by the authorities; and Tarzan’s grandson, Jackie — who runs the behemoth Greystoke Trust — is accused and imprisoned for crimes against the Crown — a capital offense. This compelling tale, set in the 1980s, chronicles the family’s epic battle for survival.

New Sci-Fi Adventure Novel Behind Enemy Lines, 450,000 Light-Years from Earth

Book #5 in The Wild Adventures of Edgar Rice Burroughs Series — available now!

Worlds at War!

Behind Enemy Lines,

450,000 Light-Years from Earth

by Lee Strong

A Soldier of Poloda: Further Adventures Beyond the Farthest Star

Like fellow Earthman, Tangor from the story Beyond the Farthest Star, American OSS officer Thomas Randolph is mysteriously teleported to a foreign planet where he lands in the center of a 100-year war that mirrors the Allied Powers’ struggle against Adolph Hitler’s Third Reich.

Unlike Tangor, Randolph — now Tomas Ran — finds himself behind enemy lines where he gains a first-hand view of the inner workings of the corrupt Kapar empire. Will Tomas, using his OSS skills, be able to devise a plan to escape with the beautiful Unisan prisoner, Loris Kiri, that will allow them to join her countrymen in their struggle against the Kapars?

American novelist Edgar Rice Burroughs debuted the world of Poloda in the pulp story Beyond the Farthest Star in 1940 just as Hitler’s Nazis marched across Europe and the Imperial Japanese extended their reach across the South Pacific. Burroughs’ youthful idealism regarding the nobility of America’s previous war efforts had given way to a mature perspective of the savagery of combat that stains every battlefield. Burroughs’ deeply-held views are reflected in this tale about a planet ravaged by 100 years of conflict as the nation of Unis devotes its entire existence to the struggle of freedom against tyranny.

Author Lee Strong created this second adventure on the planet Poloda, which lies beyond the Globular Cluster NGC 7006 — 450,000 light years away from earth. Join Tomas Ran as he explores Poloda, battles Kapars, and finds love Beyond the Farthest Star.

Enjoy this exciting new adventure [Book #5 in The Wild Adventures of Edgar Rice Burroughs’ Series and the first Science Fiction book in the Series]. Available in Hard Cover with a Dust Jacket [with Soft cover to come in a few weeks] at ERBurroughs.com and Lulu.com.

NEW NOVEL RELEASED—TARZAN ON THE PRECIPICE—BY MICHAEL A. SANFORD

THE SECOND BOOK IN THE SERIES—THE WILD ADVENTURES OF EDGAR RICE BURROUGHS®

WITH COVER ARTWORK AND INTERIORS BY MULTI–AWARD WINNING ARTIST– WILL MEUGNIOT

THE MISSING LINK—At the conclusion of the classic TARZAN OF THE APES  by Edgar Rice Burroughs, Tarzan is despondent but assured he did what was honorable by enabling Jane to leave with his cousin, William Clayton, who believes he is the rightful heir to the Greystoke estate  and can appropriately provide for  Jane when they marry.  But what then?  There has never been an explanation of Tarzan’s activities after his presence in Wisconsin and before he begins his voyage back to Africa—until now!

Tarzan on the Precipice

This story is full of fantasy, imaginative fiction and adventure, and it grabs your attention from the beginning and keeps it to the very end.  As Tarzan travels north, you will have visions of Canada that will make you feel as if you are there, touching and feeling all that Tarzan does.  Thinking time and again that Tarzan’s demise is imminent, he escapes only to encounter still more dangers, with each episode building more suspense and anticipation for the next.  Tarzan’s discovery of a lost Viking civilization and the author’s description and explanation of it will bring you a clear picture of village life and the gruesome realities of their existence.

 Tarzan on the Precipice

While you may think this is a novel of pure fiction, archaeologists are continuing to discover new Viking sites in North America.  Just recently, satellite technology has revealed intriguing evidence of a second Norse settlement further south than ever before known.  A new Canadian site was discovered after infrared images from 400 miles in space showed possible man-made impressions under layers of vegetation with telltale signs of iron working.  And now you will have the opportunity, while joining Tarzan, to unearth and experience this new discovery.

Tarzan on the Precipice

Of course, TARZAN ON THE PRECIPICE has a double meaning.  He is indeed chained with his life hanging in the balance on the precipice of a volcanic crater, but he is also on the precipice of the rest of his life, not knowing his future, abandoning his right of birth as an English Lord and bereft of the thing in life he cherishes most, Jane.  All that is left for him now is Africa, which is at least known to him.  Enjoy this tale and join Tarzan on his Canadian adventure as he prepares to return to Africa and a future even he cannot predict.
