This Limited Edition BACK TO THE STONE AGE novel was first printed in 1937 and now reprinted using the Original Printing Plates! Each book will be signed and numbered [edition of 300] and will feature spectacular full-color illustrations – stunning works by some of the best ERB artists past and present.
BACK TO THE STONE AGE will be printed the same way ERB books were printed 50 years ago – only better. A master printer will use the original plates to letterpress print on premium paper which will be sewn and cased into a vintage-style binding, and covered in a dust jacket produced by Phil Normand.

Water on Mars Found!

Yahoo has just reported:
NASA’s Curiosity rover is continuing to help scientists piece together the mystery of how Mars lost its surface water over the course of billions of years.
The rover drilled into a piece of Martian rock called Cumberland and found some ancient water hidden within it. Researchers were then able to test a key ratio in the water with Curiosity’s onboard instruments to gather more data about when Mars started to lose its water, NASA officials said. In the same sample, Curiosity also detected the first organic molecules it has found. Mission scientists announced the discovery in a news conference today (Dec. 15) at the American Geophysical Union’s convention in San Francisco, where they also unveiled Curiosity’s first detection of methane on Mars.

Team5, a full service aerial production and rental company for the motion picture and advertising industries, announced today the debut of the SHOTOVER Hydra, an advanced, gyrostabilized imaging platform designed for the visual effects industry. Developed in partnership with SHOTOVER, the maker of high performance aerial camera systems for the motion picture and broadcast industries, the Hydra synchronizes six Red Dragon 6K cinema cameras to enable motion picture productions to capture panoramic images of the highest dynamic range and quality. Warner Bros.’ upcoming film Tarzan is the first to utilize the new system.

Our friends at ERBZine have posted an interesting letter from Edgar Rice Burroughs himself who witnessed the Pearl Harbor from the Honolulu island together with his son.
When we awoke Sunday morning, December 7th, we heard a great deal of firing, some of it very loud; but we hear a great deal of firing here and had been informed by the newspapers the day before that heavy guns would be fired from various parts of the island during the ensuing several days; so we thought nothing of it and went to breakfast.

Former NASA Employee claims She Saw Humans on Mars

A woman named “Jackie,” who claims to be a former NASA employee, called Coast to Coast AM in the U.S. She claimed she had seen evidence of two human figures walking towards the Viking lander on Mars in 1979.

Martian Life Erradicated by Nuclear Weapons

This is an unfortunate turn of events. The Australian International Business Times has reported that life on mars has been wiped out with the use of nuclear technology, according to plasma physicist Dr. John Brandenburg. In his research paper he claims that an advanced alien civilization has launched two nuclear bombs targeting early Martian life for being too young and noisy. He cautions that Earth could be next in line!
